That's what I'm using... Works okay on my TLS350 (Vyper goes on the wrist seal area).. but I am on the last hole. I like it because it works well for the tropical suit without having extra strap hanging out.GearHead once bubbled...
I think a large-size Waterborne strap (1" wide) would work as well. More food for thought.
I find Casios with one pin gone on the bottom at Catalina all the time.JeffAustin once bubbled...
I wonder sometimes though, if this OEM wriststrap failure story is a SCUBA "urban legend". How many of you have actual stories about this.
Only in Andrew's classesMy guess is that a lot more masks are lost off peoples heads!![]()

The loss potential is now the same as with Waterborne or bungee... both bungee's go through BOTH original strap pieces, so the loss of one pin still leaves the bungees (and Vyper) attached to the wrist by one pin.SMKChef once bubbled...
Maverick, you are saying that you cut the straps short, then drilled holes in the straps and attached bungie to the short straps, correct? This doesn't eliminate the loss potential of breaking a pin. You have created an easier to don vytec, but not decreased your loss potential. And if you ever want to go back to the original straps, oops  you cut them.
