What a great couple of days! I did weigh-ins at the Sands Marina, and saw many really beautiful big bugs. However, my dogs became ill and I had to leave right after the Thursday weigh-in to return to the Keys to pick them up. I stopped by the party just briefly to say hi to old friends and then had to leave, so I don't have the final results. However, on Wednesday evening we weighed in a bug that weighed over NINE POUNDS....here's a photo. Yes, I know the weight doesn't show. This photo is humorous to me, I was just trying to take a photo of the bug when my friend Steve, who organizes this event annually, bent down to check the scale just as I took the photo...turning it into an action shot!

Awww, thanks for asking, you're so nice...they were starting to recover by Thursday night and they seem to have fully recovered by yesterday.
