We're finally starting to get some legal documents that can be printed and have on your boat for LEO's when inspected. Below is the FWC Executive order # EO-24-08-A1

This Executive order makes it legal to catch 2 extra lobster over your specific areas daily limit for only Sunday July 14th, 2024 if you actually are holding in your hand the official FWC Lionfish Coin. As an example, that's 14 lobsters for mainland Florida that day. Below is a snippet screen print of the specific section, but print the full PDF and have it with you.

Beer & Butter isn't a problem...........Ice is hard to find for mini-season.

Also, if the federal water IS open to non-residents, then the state is going to have a very hard time enforcing the state restrictions. How does this work?

Same way they deal with people coming from the Bahamas with their catch?
However well that works. I don’t know the answer

It would have been easier to just make mini season a 3 day concurrent event rather than 1 day, wait, then 2 days. Just expand it to Wed-Fri or Tue-Thur.

This would likely improve the tourism dollar haul by giving tourists a bigger reason to visit for a few days.

How does the governor make the fishery support a higher catch - simply because he says so.

It works the same way as when the Fed prints more dollars without more goods nor services being created at the same time to offset the increase in the money supply. In other words, it doesn't work in the real world, at least not without doing damage to something that was supposed to be protected.
