There is a current long thread concerning Primary Donate/Primary Take/Secondary Donate/HOG looping and BSAC.
One of the points the BSAC proponents state is that unless you are 'properly' trained in a long hose configuration, BSAC insurance will not cover you.
Looking at BSAC insurance on-line, two significant components of the insurance are Medical and Liability coverage.
I thought the US had a lock on spurious litigation. Is there an explicitly duty to assist in the UK? If I ever were to dive in the UK (Scappa Flow is still on my punch list), what obligations to assist would I have?

BSAC Members Third Party Liability (TPL)As a member of BSAC you have a TPL cover which covers you for legal costs and compensation awards arising from claims made against you for your negligence. It is not an "Accident", "Travel" or "Dive Equipment" Insurance. You should insure these risks yourself with an appropriate insurer
