I am taking off to BS now. Wish me luck..........

LUCK! Have a great time! I'm shutting down the computers and the
network, weather radio just went off and we are under t'storm alert.
Let us know how it went.

You can't believe that there was an OW class in the morning. I am not sure which dive shop it was. But, they got through all storm to complete OW certification. LOL~~~

We got there around 3 p.m. The weather was fantastic, sunny and breeze. :dazzler1: It couldn’t be better. We made 38 min and 48 min dives. The water temp was 46 F, as usual, but Viz wasn’t good. It looked like a night dive though. But, we enjoyed dives a lot.

I have been there when it has rained and the class goes on.
The bad thing with BS is that when it rains vis goes to hell in a hand basket because of all the run off. I was there last year and you could see the bottom off the dock. It rained and you couldn't see a diver on the bottom off the dock.

Still planning on going the 21st and 22nd.

Update

I was told that Dennis won’t come back to BS anymore. He was released from the hospital and has stayed with his GF, but he developed complications after the stork. He is not being in a good mood at this moment. It is so sad to hear about him….. I wish he gets well soon.

Regarding the air refill, Rick is also thinking about a nitrox fill at BS site this summer. I am not sure if it really happens though. I suggest having BS air refill card, $4 each air fill, for the regular visitors. How do you think that?

Always thought that a card of some sort would work well for him. Like I told my LDS, if I am at BS and can get a cheaper fill than what they are charging I will get a fill at BS. I will probably get at least two fills this weekend so a card would help.
The computer is mounted on the desk and if everyone shows just to see the sinking of this thing we will have the lake packed. I know of at least 12 people that will be there, some are doing there OW classes, with about 8 more that said they will try. I won't be able to make it out till around 3 on Saturday. I am coming up with the LDS class and they aren't looking at leaving Brazil any earlier than 1. We will be doing a night dive if anyone wants to join us.

LDS in indy said at least 5 classes out there that they are doing, It will be packed!!!!

Tanks for the info. If then, what time do the classes start? Any idea?

They will start early around 8 am
