Dove the Chester Poling wet yesterday.... 48 degrees at 88' felt ok due to the hot shower onboard the Cape Ann Divers boat during the SI :) Second dive wasn't soooo comfortable..... my buddy caught a 12lber but had to release it, 7" body:( Time to change my dive profile my 16th dive yesterday yippee!:)

Hey Johnny!! Great Idea on wearing the wetsuit home. Nice and Toasty :D !!! Thanx!!! My SI was great, my second dive was fantastic. I did leave lots of puddles at first though...Hey, when Gidds does a feet first ascent, could you get it on film? I'd pay money, I mean, I've never seen anyone do that before... I mean, I've HEARD about it but I thought people were just pulling my fins...

There is some strange pleasure in driving with a wetsuit on. I've only done it once to get to the other side of a lake, but I had this feeling that I was ready for anything. I don't think that I would wear a wetsuit in the shower, but then again, I usually don't rinse my gear. :D

You don't rinse your Gear D.I.E.? Doesn't it get nasty :freak: ?

Gear rinsing? That's not the DIE way to do things. Besides, I learned a few tricks as a dive master so that I don't have to rinse my gear. :D

Seriously, I dive in freshwater, so there is no salt or fish loving to wash off. If I dive in sumpin' nasty, I'll rinse/wash my gear but most of the time, all I do is hang it up to drip dry! If I dive in saltwater, then I have to do the rinse thing or find a fresh water dive.

Fish loving?!?!?!?! So much for enjoying the taste of salt water on my reg.........:11:

Hey Manta - glad it worked out for ya! I dont expect Gidds to have any issues. She will most likely have eveything worked out before ever getting in the water. Makes for a great dive bud. I'm sure I will be briefed on what to do in the event of a foot first ascent. That cant be fun.;)

Even if I brief you I don't expect any help, I expect to be hanging there while you laugh and flood your mask and I won't get any help until you clear it :shakehead
