Hey all,

Buddy Jeff and I are looking for a dive inland this weekend. I've been looking at Brownstone but haven't heard any reports recently. Anyone been there lately and care to comment good or bad. I'm just looking to get wet but don't want to waste a two hour ride for nothing.

Thanks,

Al

There were a couple of divers there the other day, vis looked pretty good.

Yea, We went down on Saturday. All in all not a bad day. I find it hard to get too exited about quarries and lakes but this didn't suck too bad. We did two dives. Each about 50 minutes. Max depth 72 feet but we spent the majority of the time above the 30' thermocline. Lots of junk on the bottom and on the ledges to root through. Bottles and stuff every were. I especially liked the setup with the easy parking, picnic tables, and outhouse. The fire pit was nice as well. A good option for when the ocean is totally blown out.
