I'm looking into replacing my regulator hose with a braided line on my A700, will this void any warranty or affect performance of the reg?

As far as I know, unless the hose is proprietary to the actual 2nd stage itself, you should be ok with using whatever type of hose you want. I personally use all miflex hoses for my 2nd stages, SPG, and LP inflators.
