OMS makes a nice slip-on pocket that slides onto the waist webbing and clips off to a d-ring so that the dring takes the weight and the waist belt holds it where you want

Don't forget x-shorts, from dive-xtras.com. For my (yet to be ordered) drysuit, where the insulation goes on the inside, I will have permanent pockets. But for my wetsuits I'm in the process of buying a pair of the shorts, since the wetsuits have additional layers that can go on the outside for warmth...

Yep, suit pockets are handy! When I made the Big Switch, I found thesuit pockets made for much easier access of items that the BC pockets did.

As jag said, lights are clipped off to D rings and tuck away quite well with a piece of inner tube. The D ring is handy for clipping of the little camera as well :D

Some folks stash their lift bag in a pouch between their BP and back. I'm too cheap to buy the pouch, so just fold it up and stash it in a suit pocket with the spool attached.

Innertube? Please explain...
For me, I will not be using a drysuit, and in the next month, will be shedding my suit and wearing skins, so attaching pockets on my wetsuit is kinda a waste of energy.
Also, I still have the weightbelt issue. Do they make pockets that attach to the webbing?

The innertube thing... cut a 1" ring off of an old bike tube and use it to hold the end of your flashlight snug against the shoulder harness - it's easy to get your light out and restow it back - sort of like a small, but very thick rubber band...

Leisurepro had some weight pockets (trim pocket I think they were called) for about $8 each...http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/XSSTWBK.html - you could always reach in and ditch weight manually I guess...or tie a piece of cave line to the weight and let the line hang out under the velcro flap - same idea as an integrated weight system in most bc's

I'm using the Halcyon Harness pocket, attached to the webbing and the BP on the right side (no canister for me) to store the spool and the spare mask. Lift bag goes in the Storage pak behind my back. Slate is still on my left arm.

Hey Jenny, another option that I'm about to try (if you like cheap DIY projects) pick up a weight belt from Triple-L http://www.scubal.com with 6 pockets for about $10 and remove the pockets from the belt, sew a 2" webbing loop on them and they are ready for your bp harness - each holds 6lbs quite easily. Plus if you do up 6 of them, keep 2 and sell the other 4 to make back what it cost ya'... just an idea...

HALCYON makes the MC storage pack connects straight to the BP, great for carrying SMB's, life raft, and M & M's "melts in your mouth not in your BC"

I'm not sure if the MC pack will fit any BP though. Not only functional, but cool looking to (ninja black only) :D
