Hello

After having realised what a stainless steel BP costs (in Sweden) i'm more enthusiastic than ever to construct my own. Hopefully I'm not the first person around, and maybe some of you out there would help me with some tips.

Most importantly i would need the dimensions of a (halcyon - or similar) SS BP. Since there is nobody around possesing one, i have had difficulties finding out the exact dimensions.

So if you are aware of the dimensions (angles, side lengths, harness slits, etc.) it would make life much easier for me.

Can't help with the backplate details, but try www.backplates.co.uk - cheap and cheerful. Sorry if this is not helpful enough

edit Come to think of it, you might be able to get a copy of the drawing the fellow on that web site uses to make his.
