Yes.... definitely just take the T, parking (or driving) in Boston is never fun. Take the T to Copley Station on the Green Line and you're practically right there.

Cheapest alternative is to find a metered space and to keep feeding the meter...

Alt. #1 is probably the common garage ($10)...which is convenient if you are going to be staying into the evening hours (since film fest is down that way). This is about 5 blocks from the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel where the daytime events take place.

There is also the Pru Ctr. garage (multiple entrances on Boylston and some side streets-not sure about rates) and...about 2 blocks away

...a large garage on Clarendon St. across from the Hard Rock cafe -- sits on top of the Pike (again, not sure about rates)....1.5 blocks away

Another option in that area I sometimes use is a building that sits between St. James and Stuart St. (I believe it is between Berkeley and Clarendon Sts.) -- well situated between Copley Sq. and the film fest location. I forget the address and the rates....1-2 blocks away

You will likely pay somewhere between $10 & $15 for parking in one of these garages, as weekend rates tend to be cheaper.
