I am leaving for bonaire on saturday for a week--would love to get a copy of this book--does anyone who has been know if they sell this book at the dive shops there?

I just answered my own question by reading the website--available all over the island

Be sure to pick up a copy ... it is very valuable! If the dive shop you are using is out or does not carry it be sure to find one that does!

I ordered the book online. I figure that it'll make some good reading on the flight and give me some ideas about the "must dive" sites.

Karpata, Jeff Davis, Oil Slick, Witches Hut, Angel City, Pink Beach, Invisibles, Torie's Reef, are good ones to start with. Jumping off Oil Slick is easy. Watch your drop-off point on the reef so you can exit from the same spot. Swim into the current at the start of the dive and drift back.
Other than that , load some tanks and go have fun!

BSDME - Easy to pick up anywhere on the island. Next edition in writing phase now - post-Omar changes. Watch variations on the entry points for some sites. And realize shallower areas will have changed with regard to corals and such. Otherwise SOS for depths of 25-30 and deeper. People report even better life in the shallows than before and eels more visible than last autumn.
