I don't know; I've never been there. But I've read about the jellyfish and seen them on TV. You're actually not allowed to scuba dive at Jellyfish Lake -- only snorkel.

Why can't you scuba there? There must be a reason.

SCUBA diving in the lake is prohibited to avoid disturbing the jellyfish and also to reduce the risk of hydrogen sulfide poisoning.

Hmmm, I did a search of Wikipedia for Boerne City Lake and didn't come up with anything. ???
