I don't think they ever really shut down. It was more of the fact that it wasn't worth diving in 2' viz especially for $20. I have heard that one of the Indy LDS has taken a class or two in. Not sure if they are still doing this or not.
 
It's open. As Wally said, never really closed. I've been diving it since last Sept. Not as nice as it was before the flood in terms of visibility, but it's still an OK local site.
 
Most of us think along the same lines.

I quite agree. I only dive there when it's the only option. Typically when I only have a short amount of time (I only live 30 min from Blue Springs) and just have to get wet. Otherwise I'll head to Gilboa or Haigh.
