I wasn't there this weekend, but spoke to a couple of those who were. Yeah, the weather reports indicated nothing of the type and nobody had any idea it would be that bad.
From what the eyewitnesses say, they're not expecting BSQ to reopen anytime soon. It's going to take a lot of effort to get it going again. The road to the central area has a 6-7' crater, the docks were up over the pavilions, the creek flowed through the main building up top, etc.
Yeah, Craig is a great guy. Not sure who the other instructor is who was referred to, but all of the ones I know at SU have been exceptional, which is the reason I chose them for my training. I shopped the area pretty thoroughly and they are definitely top shelf instructors and good people. :14:
