Yes, jellyfish sleep.

Those walnut shaped ones were all on the seafloor like some peanutbutter party once it got dark. Shine a light on them and they start moving around. In one spot I counted a dozen.

I don't know what a peanutbutter party is, but the jellies were having one..

Anyone go out today. Viz getting better? Was there on Sunday and it was pretty awful. Planning on doing the night dive Thursday but if viz is pretty bad might save the 3 hours of driving round trip and hit the next one.

Thought we found the elephant graveyard of jelly fish. Too cool!

There's s night dive on Friday too right? There's a penumbral eclipse on that day. Should make for interesting even lower viz?

Force E on Thursday 10/17 and Pura Vida on Friday 10/18. PV got special permission to go to 10:30 as they are also doing a pumpkin carving contest before the dive. Details on their respective FB pages.

Very interesting--I hope there's enough viz tomorrow night to see'em. Of course, all those lights in the water may have'em waaay confused as to day/nite!

I'm NOT jet, but sometimes I wish I had her new cam and housing! Check viz with the 2 stores when you call to sign up, someone may have gone this morning!
