Lionfish are in the Indian river Lagoon up by my house. They talk. They walk. On those spines. They are stalking ME! Fortunately I am leaving in the early AM for the airport.

Me, my son and his wife will be in the area next week. We were looking to dive the bridge and maybe a couple of 3 tank dives. One of our divers is only OW certified so I need 60 ft or less. Any Ideas?

Hey, Denise, long time no see... glad you are gonna be in this neck of the woods..

You know you chose Goliath aggregate season to do this? Many of the dive charters in the area are looking to dive to 80'ish for the group to see Goliath Grouper...

If you can go down a bit south... (Boca). you might like to dive with Capt. Tony

Absolutely recommend both for new and experienced divers

Just to name a couple

Don't forget to dive the bridge and become a troll while you are here!

Thanks! We plan to hit the bridge Monday or Tuesday. I realized after talking to a dive op down there we must be hitting the wrong season next week for typical OW diving that we have done in the past. I love the wrecks and the depth, went to 128ft on air in June in Cozumel but this week is family and have to stay at 60 ft or less but it is all cool.... It is family :D

OK, I am so excited...
We finished off our PADI instruction for our Digital Underwater Photography Certification tonight... Tomorrow, I earn my photography Cert through PADI. I am so excited I could yawn!

Haven't been able to get over to the bridge much lately but I've also noticed it's a bit quiet around these parts. A couple of pics for some entertainment. Let me know if the photos don't work. As always more here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/uwphotos/albums/72157650719576339
Was the juvi angel with ambient light? Nice.

Love the juvi Razorfish

I'm betting it's a juvi parrotfish, though the juvi green razor does look pretty similar.

Juvi angel was shot with 1 strobe (other strobe is on the fritz.) These little guys are too frisky for me to get a crisp shot with ambient light.
