I WILL BE THERE ON THE 6/28 IT'S THE #1 SHORE DIVE IN FLORIDA ................... PICT0001.jpg :sharkattack::sharkattack:

Thanks for the report Cap.! If anyone is able to report the conditions Sunday, it would be appreciated as we are going Monday! TIA!:blessing:

Conditions today remained nice! 25 feet of vis computer said 81 degrees. Did a 110 min dive. My wife got a nice pic of an Octopus south of the west span. Hope the pic posts. Also saw a massive Barracuda swim through the east span, so big I thought it was a Tarpon at first glance.

Went yesterday. Got there a little late and did a tour of the west side. Vis OK, about 20 but lots of sand in the water. Nice and warm 81 on my computer. Lots and lots of flailing divers. This place is getting so popular with beginners and basic classes that it is becoming a real problem as they spread out all over and destroy the vis in a large area.

Nice school of spadefish under the fishing pier and a couple of big schools of surgeonfish out on the sand, those were a treat. Octopi, batfish, sharptail eel, a large barracuda, all the usual crustacean suspects (lots of everything). Out in the "canyon" between the last bridge pier and the wood pilings for the main channel, a school of at least a dozen very large mature gray angelfish. Absolutely gorgeous and the highlight of the dive.

Brass ring burger and Johnny Longboat's carrot cake afterward YUM!

A beautiful day to be out.
