A few from today's short dive (46 minutes). I had to leave early for a furniture delivery and in addition, whenever I dive, I have the bladder of a 3rd trimester pregnant woman (but I am a guy). Forgot to take my catheter for my drysuit P-valve and my eyes were yellow quickly.

I got 75 F with reduced vis to about 10' or so

Very Nice Pics. I wonder if it is worth me going tomorrow? That rain that will not stop!

For me, it is always worth it. I am accustom to cold water, poor vis and not much to see. In the last 2 visits which totaled 22 days, I can count the sunny days on 3 fingers. Where is this Florida sun everyone talks about?

I ran into a big bunch of rain between Fort Lauderdale & Boynton. Nothing up in Riviera Beach. Just overcast and as jar said, viz was poor, (nice to meet you, jar!) Maybe 10 ft? I had 73, but Jim also said 75 today. My camera stared fogging about half through so I turned it off and just enjoyed the dive. I slipped into that zen-like state that sometimes happens and forgot that I was in the water. Nothing spectacular as far as critters. But the fact that I spent a little over two hours meditating underwater is in itself spectacular.

p.s. Sorry Bill, I'm working this weekend. I can't wait until I'm retired so I can dive every day!

My son and I are flying down Sat night. We were going to the Keys, but I am tired of getting blown out down there. The plan now is to dive BHB on Sunday, then head to Crystal River for Manatee and drift diving followed by Blue Grotto and Devil's Den.

Hope your vis improves, but will dive it anyway.

Will you be there tomorrow? I could manage 10 FT but less it is problem. It has happen that I could not see my fins.

As jet said it was a zen dive....2 hours and 2 minutes (but who counts?). I must say that the zen was interrupted when jet spied the seahare mating chain.
You'll see from the 1st image she was so excited she stirred up the water. :chuckle:

I think we need an intervention for jet she makes a bee line for all the creatures "not fighting" :censored:

That's not silting unless I managed to silt the entire BHB dive site. That gives you an idea of viz today - Jim is about equal distance from the mound as me.

Speaking of not fighting, it was NOT ME who was given the 2x over by a certain very enamored manatee!

How did you get him to show his beautiful, yellow underside, Jim?? I've never seen that part and hadn't realized it was so colorful! Cool!

Kevin
Looks pissed off if you ask me. Rearing up.
