Hey guys, what camera should i get to start out photography at BHB?

Hi Grama -

There are a lot of really good photographers who regularly post in this thread. Some even professional (or could be). So you have asked the question in the right place. But you need to narrow things down a bit. Are you new to photography? What about underwater photography? Are you looking for general "pretty fish" pictures or macro? And probably most important: How much do you want to spend?

I know someone whose BHB photos have been published. She tells the story of a majestic spotted eagle ray that circled her one day while she was shooting macro: things so tiny you couldn't see them with your naked eye.

If you could post a little more specific info about your objectives you might get the answer you seek.

Good luck and have fun. Blue Heron Bridge, with all its incredible diversity, is any uw photographer's dream.

Pygmyangel,

Your presentation is a bit too slow to get a real bite in this forum. Try casting further out, follow the weedline, and troll a tad more quickly...you may have more success.

Also, some folks have found trolling during the dropping tide to be productive. Check your Solunar tables for the best time to try again.
