After using rental tanks at new place for 6 dives in three days, filter in my Apeks ATX50 first stage became black/brown (more of a black). Looks like dirty air to me. Does anyone one know where can I get filter replacement pack on internet? I'll buy few, since air quality differs from shop to shop anyway.

I'd have my regulator serviced not just change the filter. Sounds like either the compressor filter broke, whichs lets the activated carbon in the system(black) or there is alot of water(brown/Black) in the tanks/air system. Either way full service might be good idea.
Were the tanks steel or Al?

Tanks were aluminum. I also had one mine, which is stainless steel Faber 95 with only 10 dives on it. Looks like after using my tank-filter is getting lighter color, like it's cleaning itself. So, it might be dirty aluminum tank as well.
