Thank you everyone for the advice. I thought these regulators needed to be serviced annually, but it looks like from what I can see online the recommendation is if more than 50 dives per year, then annual service, but if under 50 dives then every 2 years is what's recommended.
I'm not saying don't service your regs but... The rentals will be serviced significantly less than your own gear (usually only when the reg starts falling apart). Your problem will be rubber and o-rings deteriorating. Regs like to get wet. So 2-4 years is fine, just check on the surface if it's not breathing wet and if you can, whether your IP pressure is not creeping up. You will be fine, especially if you dive shallow in warm water. Regs can take an incredible amount of abuse.

Your reg is most likely to fail right after service :wink: . That's not a joke.
