Best place to change $ - Tagbilaran - Alona?

I'll be falling off a boat soon ( diving early November) around Alona and wonder where is the best place to change currency Tagbilaran, or Alona beach, or do both places have pretty much the same rates of exchange? Also - does anyone know which dive operators have underwater video equipment.

I hope you're bringing cash. Travellers checks are a b!@#$ to exchange, most of the establishments dont accept them and if they do, they ding you 3% for the amount. If you're bringing cash, you shouldn't have any problems exchanging them.
