Best place for certified but novice diver, seeking good coral reef experience

Dahab, Marsa Allam and Sharm El Sheikh all have excellent corals + aquatic life. I'm new to diving (just got my OW cert) but on my first visit to Sharm El Sheikh I was amazed by the life there. I got my certification with Marina Divers and even their house reef is excellent! Even managed to spot an eagle ray on my last day

Sharm El Sheikh is also the best place when you put diving aside. The whole city was built specifically for tourism so you'll have no trouble finding things to do when you're not diving. Nightlife is also great. There's a Pacha there and apparently it's in the top 20 clubs worldwide.

I recently came back from Shagra Red Sea Diving Safari - Marsa Alam - Home

I went there with my girlfriend who only had her four OW dives. The offer all kinds of diving and it worked really well for us. They offer unlimited diving on the house reef so the first day we only did shore dives from the house reef where we could set our own pace. You can also use the zodiacs as much as you like and they offer several trips to other locations with RIB's and bus. The guides are very patient and the there are a lot of divesites for beginners. If I was starting all over today, this would be the place.

Besides the diving the place is very relaxing and nice. We stayed in a tent with the opening right at the ocean, great food, away from the crowd, saw loads of turtles and now I want to go back again. You will feel completely safe here.
