You are in Japan so Space-A flights to Andersen Air Base Guam should be a snap. There are also Civic Action presences on Chuuk, Yap, and Palau. Those folks have to be resupplied so there may be Space-A opportunities there too. But - if you get to Guam the flights to those locations are not so expensive. The cost then would be hotel/dive packages.

Get on the Philippine Divers forums. A flight from Tokyo to Manila should be affordable.

I want catch a hop to Guam, and then dive Chuuk, Yap, Palau, and Saipan. Do you have any recomendations for dive shops or lodging at these locations? I know the Agressor Fleet services these locations with a live a board. But I think that is a bit pricey.

Guam has an MWR dive shop on the Naval Base MDA Guam & Micronesia Pacific Scuba Diving., you can stay on base for a low rate.

Saipan has a military on its staff at Speedy Turtle Speedytertle Dive Shop: Saipan's Premiere Dive Shop

But I don't have any recomendations for Chuuk, Yap, Palau. I want to dive the WWII wrecks before the reefs eat them away.

Since all 4 branches of the Military dive on Okinawa, and we have dive shops sponsored by US Marine Corps Tsunami Gear, US Airforce Kadena Marina, and US Army Torii Beach Dive Locker, I thought I would share with the rest of the Active, Reserve, National Guard, and Retired some of the many dive sites we have on Okinawa. This list is combination of sites that I have dove, sites listed in Diving Point Map by Okinawa Marine Publications, A Divers Guide by John Chandler, Dive Sites map by Kadena Marina, and Dive Tables Okinawa, Japan by MCCS Marine Corps, SaWes Dive shop Yonaguni, Enysea Dive Shop Iromote, and my personal experiance.

I'm an instructor with MDA here on Guam. It's $42 a dive if you're not a 5 star member but only$32 if you are. If you go to Saipan, Speedy Turtle is a good diver operator. Expect to spend about 100-150 for a 2-3 tank dive. If you go to Palau, you need to dive with Sam's Tours. It's about 150 for a 3 tank boat dive but includes lunch and breakfast. They are an excellent operator and great at getting you to the shop. I haven't dove Chuuk yet but I have heard great things about Chuuk and Yap. If you want to do all the islands, you need about 2 weeks. MDA's travel section can get you a package setup if you want to do a dive trip. They get pretty decent deals with continental airfare and hotels.

Weitodive I have been to MDA before and it is a nice shop. Are their places for military members to stay close by that have resonable rates when they are on leave? HMMM two weeks of wreck diving sounds awsome. Is it easy through MDA to get wreck certified? Weitodive we can go dive Chuuk together I am looking at catching a hop to Guam and work on flight to and fro Chuuk, Yap, Saipan, and Palau.

Weitodive it would be nice adverizing to post here a sample of MDA's package setup
