Oh, I forgot...

The sweat from the inner thighs of virgin Swedish dive mistresses.

Either that or toothpaste.

spit and seaweed or moss..ya know that greeish grassy watery stuff ...that works very well...spit in the mask woosh it around and use the moss to swoosh the spit..rinse. Then soak our warm face. If no moss no problemo just swoosh the spit and rinse

One of the biggest fog problems is a warm face...cool off your face befor you dive. that will help reduce the fog or condensation in the mask....Warm face cool mask...or cool face warm mask= fog-faced-mask-dive guy.

Keep your mask out of the sun or heat. Keep your face cool with a cool moist towel.

A trick I do is before a dive, I fill the mask with cool water after I did the spit and rinse. Just befor I dive I wipe my face dry and I put the mask on. Never fog again.

Great advice! Thank you! :)

A little baby shampoo (No More Tears) with water. Spray inside and swish around. Spit has never worked for me.

I heard that spit eventually is bad for the silicone on the mask so commercial de-foggers are better. Is this total BS? I have no idea

I also use baby shampoo. Works great. I put it on before leaving home and let it thicken. I then rinse the mask out WITHOUT touching the inside of the lenses. Works great and it's a heck of a lot cheaper. You can also use it for many other things as the need may arise ... lubricate drysuit seals, wash gear, wash your hair!

Sure sounds like "total BS" to me.

I have no idea either but would you be at all interested in buying some real estate on the moon? You'll even get a SB members discount.

That's funny. Did this person conveniently forget that regulator mouthpieces are made of silicone?

Spit works good. If it doesn't for some reason... just flood your mask a little and swish the water around. Also a good fix if you forgot to defog your mask pre-dive.

Remember SPIT aka saliva- not the green gooberish snot stuff..that will take the paint of a boat! That stuff can aso do some mucho damage to the silicone let alone look like a floating booger in the mask...
