I really like it, big schools of fish, sharks, eagle rays, large stingrays, moray eels everywhere. It’s not super clear (20-40 ft viz) due to the mixing currents. My favourite place to dive. I’m going again in 2 weeks but skipping the bull shark dive this time because my 13 year old is depth limited to 70 ft. Dive shops are pretty booked up at the moment so if you’re going call around and book something soon.

Thanks for getting back, how does it compare to Honduras / Belize, Cozumel for instance ?

I preferred it to Roatan, haven’t been to Coz. Even put it above Galapagos for me (when you consider Price / ease of diving)

Ok, thanks for that, I wasn't massively impressed with any of them to be honest. I have done most of my diving in Indonesia, Asia, Pacific and was disappointed with Mexico,Belize and Honduras.

Have you dove Wolf and Darwin or just land based in the Galapagos ? I really liked a site called Gordon Rocks, is it at that level ?

I’ve done Gordon Rocks 4x - still prefer CR. Land based Galapagos only so no arch.

Really, CR is comparable to Gordon Rocks. I like Palegic diving. Really like seeing big stuff. What are the prices in CR like then please backpacker accommodation and dive prices ?

Big stuff in CR yeah, Bats is expensive at $165 for 2 dives (but still cheaper than the $205 I paid for Gordon Rocks), I would say Bat islands is comparable to land based Galapagos. Catalina is $135 (lots of large schools of fish), local diving (Playa Del Coco) is about $85. Prices are for 2 dives.
