Actually I’m using a 7’ hose, which means I should route it under something. I already have a weight pocket on my right side that I can route it under but still interested in getting a separate pocket.

I have my weight pockets on my cambands. The Dive Rite pocket (vertical orientation) works well for routing the hose under, though I needed to put a piece of plastic inside to act as a stiffener. (The more expensive Halcyon version of this style of pocket has a stiffener built in.) All I can say is the Dive Rite is well built, and the zipper is usable so long as you're not wearing gloves.

It would be nice to see people actually wearing their gear (harness/wing or other bc) with an attached pocket or however they attach their gear. Anyone willing to post pics?

Thanks! Where was this pic taken? I don’t normally associate green water with a t-shirt and shorts shortie, that’s all. :D

Ft Lauderdale area i think after a discharge from Lake Okeechobee.
Yeah, this is common with Lake O discharges, especially as you move up the coast and closer to the source. You'll often see a layer of green, colder water sitting on top of clearer, warmer water.

AJ diving a single, with a (gasp!) white mask, and not in a drysuit?!?! FAKE NEWS! GUE's gotta GUE!

GUE's gotta GUE!
I know it's not the case here, but everytime I see GUE I'm reminded of being on the west coast during the Vietnam War as a young adult sailor. We would hit several bars known as the West Pac Widow's Clubs. They probably still exist. Our motto was GUE (Go Ugly Early). Again that was back when I was Young and Dumb. Now, I'm just old.

For inexpensive pockets, go to Bass Pro and buy a pair of the fishing cargo shorts. Made out of non-absorbent material and come in any size needed. Cost a fraction of what the "dive" shorts cost! Added bonus, the back pockets work to easily slide a slate in and out without opening the cargo pockets. You might need more than 1 pair if you need them for warm and cold dives. Still be cheaper than the dive shorts...
