I just bought a Nautilus Lifeline nextGen. Out of the box, it didn't come with the carry pouch or silicone sleeve. So, give me some ideas where to store/attach this on my BCD. Do you put yours in a pocket or does it dangle from a clip? If it's in your pocket, how do you secure it from falling out should your pocket get opened?

BTW, Divers Supply currently has them priced at $179.99. MSRP is $249.99.

I put it on a leash and stick them in my BCD waist pocket. Then the other end of the leash I have a double clip to clip the leash to D-ring outside of the waist pocket.

Strange you did not get the silicone pouch in the box? Mine came with it. Neatly packaged in original …

My Nautilus did not come with carry case or silicone sleeve either. To carry it I attached a small marine-grade stainless steel keyring to the lanyard loop on the plastic body. Then I attached a small bolt snap to the ring. I can now clip the device onto any d-ring or loop on my dive gear rig. I normally wear the neoprene tech shorts with cargo pockets during dives, and the Nautilus is clipped onto one of the bungee cord loops in the pockets.

Get the silicone sleeve. It prevents the cap from accidentally unlatched and flooded the device. The latch might get caught on something during giant stride or backroll entry to the water, as an example.

The silicon sleeve was not included with ours either. Having a 32" waist doesn't provide much real estate on my BP/W harness, however, I made sure to provide a space for this small robust HOG weight pocket. The Nautilus fits securely with a double closure of Velcro and plastic quick clip. The pocket is made to slide over 2" webbing.
