Do bass cargo shorts come in spandex or fit closely, or only ballon out? I only saw loose fitting shorts on website.

Anyone ever shove gear up the leg of their shorty wetsuit? Some pocket-less tennis players roll a ball up their thigh/hip area, and it doesn't come out (even when running.) Might that be a good place to keep the spare AAA flashlight?

After the Terrible sunburn I got last time I dove in a shorty, I only use long sleeve, long leg exposure protection now. Spandex shorts over the diveskin might work for a flat dive slate, but it would still be pressing against muscle and maybe be a bit distracting? I would give it a go, just to see but only a small dive slate.

Yeah... is that a flashlight in your thigh area or you're just happy to see me?

AAA? Maybe for you.

I'm thinking a D-cell maglite in my case.

Pocket = place to put stuff you no longer want.

Bolt snaps + bungee on harness secures everything I need (cave days are in the rear view mirror).

I..uh..this guy I knew used to wear expensive Serengeti shades fishing. For years no problem. Now they're at the bottom of the lake. Now i..uh..he wears Wal-Mart shades.

No matter how you secure things in a pocket someday it's gonna get you .

Anything that’s in a pocket should be clipped off inside the pocket. Losing stuff isn’t difficult. There’s a reason the come with loops and d-rings and grommets.

I'll have you know I've a single 26650 that has respectable girth but not length, and a couple of 2x16650 ones that are a bit on the skinny side but the length is pretty decent. And my 6xD maglite is not for diving, it's for home defense, so it doesn't apply. :whistling:

Not spandex, some type of nylon. How loose or tight they are depends on your build. Mine aren't very loose on the leg and don't move around very much and my legs are not thick for my size (girlfriend calls them chicken legs).
I use the pockets for spare mask, snorkel, shears. Never had a problem getting stuff in and out. Added permanent pockets to most of my wetsuits because I kept forgetting the shorts...
