I've moved a thread from Accidents & Incidents over here for condolences.

Joe was a great friend, a good dive buddy, and as Penny put it an "Ambassador of Diving", especially in the Great Lakes and Northern Florida tech and cave diving circles.

He will be sorely missed and our hearts ache for him right now.

As many have already said, my condolences to his family and friends. At least he died while doing something he loved, although that offers little consolation to the survivors.

Sad to hear. What can one say?...Prayers for all.

my prayers go out but the question still remains as to why dive in a dangerous environment like this ?
makes no sence.

Bob and Penny,

Any information available about a memorial or service for Joe?
