I was wondering where your EX35 was.

I use it for cave diving now. I use one of my CX2 when wreck diving or fun diving like this. It’s just simpler and less to lug around. It’s still pretty bright.I was wondering where your EX35 was.

Two questions:Just some fun photos from diving at Pearl Lake in South Beloit, IL yesterday. When a buddy with a big camera rig who takes excellent photos wants to come along, you say yes immediately! Big light on my left hand is a video light I was carrying as I was “modeling.” I think the photo with the blue gill giving the camera a big stink eye will probably end up as one of the photos on my Christmas card! Most people combat this by twisting the cord around your forearm. Think put computer on arm loosely, spin computer 360 around wrist and tighten, magically extra cord is gone. It really doesn't matter much unless youre in a cave or wreck. Though depending on how it bends it could annoy you when handling stages/deco bottles
The loose cord coming off of your Petral 3 looks like it could get caught on something - should that be secured closer to your body in some way? It is that just how these things are normally set up?
Yeah I love the elastic straps too. Secret is have someone sew the ends with a loop so the plastic parts cant come off. I hated them at first because when I'd loosen the side where the male part of the clip is, sometimes I'd loosen too much and the strap would start coming out. I had my wife sew the end into a loop (folded half an inch on itself and sewed.) Made it much nicer to deal with.I love the elastic straps that SW includes. IDK why a ton of people swap for bungee.
The straps need to be flipped depending on what wrist the computer is on, it makes it way easier to put on.

Is the black circle in the last picture hiding some sort of sign language/hand gesture?

The straps are a pig to connect with dry gloves. Bungees are so much easier to pull on and they stay in place. Also you can put a Trilobite line cutter under.I love the elastic straps that SW includes. IDK why a ton of people swap for bungee.

How I do it: connect straps, but loosen them all the way. Do this before you put dry gloves on. I usually put computers on before I have dry gloves on. Well, that was my experience.
