hello everyone,
for little over 5 years, I was diving with my trusty Zeagle.
I will have an opportunity to try the Zeagle backplate, and I have a questions:
- i was holding my spare mask in the Ranger pocket. Where can i stowe it while diving BP/wing and having wet suit without pocket?

Any insights on Zeagle BP?

thanks for the help,
sasha

Try one of these (the thigh pocket at the bottom). There is plenty of room to hold a nice spare low profile mask. You don't have to put it on your thigh. It has a strap where you can attach it easily to your webbing (which is where mine is). Dive Rite also makes pockets especially for masks.

You can buy them here.

Zeagle sell a small mask pocket that slips onto your waistband, I wear mine on the right hip behind my reel, fits my backup mask in just perfectly. I leave my thigh pocket free for my Jon Line and backup tables.

If you have a look at the links in my sig you will see my Zeagle BP, I have changed things around a little bit but overall I am in love with this rig, I am using a 55# dual bladder as I dive wet in summer but dry in winter. Soo comfy and stable underwater, took about 15 dives to get it all just right but I would not part with it for the world I dive this rig to around 180-190 feet every weekend.

On another note I had the oppurtunity to take the new Zeagle Flat Head Regs for a dive the other day, Apex eat your heart out these just ROCK.

If you have any specific questions on the BP please let me know

hi,
thanks for the reply. I am familiar with your site and your pictures and I have a very similiar setup. I have a little bertha double bladder with ranger that i made some add-ons.
in order to see your setup, i was wondering if you have some higer res pics?

Hi Sahsha
I will take some high Res pics this weekend for you, I have been meaning to do it for weeks not anyway.
Anything specific you want to see pics of ?

hi chris,
thanks... i have so many question, so let me start from somewhere:
- i feel that the inflator hose is too long, on my little bertha, even though i have the shortes one from zeagle. therefore, i wanted to see how did you route your inflator hose, both when you use single and double tanks.

looking forward to see your new pics....

dive safe,
sasha

Here you go

I am afraid I do not wear a single tank with my Deep Kit, it never gets taken apart. I dont have any problems with the Inflator hose. The length has never been a problem underwater. I use a piece of Bungy to tie it down to my shoulder strap just under where my knife sits. Then I know where it always is, and it stops it from floating over my head.

thank you so much for the effort to take these pictures. i have more clear picture now. in 10 days, i am supposed spend a weekend in eilat and until then i will configure the bp/wing that i will get to try.

i will post my findings

sasha
