BB Code Image in Signature

Is there a reason why the BB Code image tag needs to be turned off in the signatures?
Is there any other way to make a clickable image in your signature that I'm not aware of?

Please enlighten me.

Clickable link pix in the signature are nice, but what happened to my linky thingie in the sig line? Did something change while I was asleep? My odd little sig photo image disappeared and all I can see is the code.

What I miss? (again)

Yup... just look at my sig line. That image appeared there until today. Now poof. Link is (obviously) still good. What happened?
