Backup to integrated computer

Until last week I have been diving an uwatec smart tec air integrated computer. I have always had an spg as a backup. In the 4 years diving the uwatec, I have had one failure and that was a complete failure of the computer. I have had the computer in caves and open water and never had an issue with pressure readings. There is a slight difference in pressure readings once you get below 1000 psi though.
