...keepers on the back side of the plate.

....that's what I was trying to say....:)

Picture showing the back part of the BP

I tried to say that I am going to put keepers where the webbing runs through the lower part (back side) of the plate, on either side of the crotch strap, as shown in the link.

NOTE: No keepers are shown, but the picture does show where I would place my keepers.

Hope that explains it better??

I have never found a need for the keepers. My webbing seems to saty adjusted just fine. All personal preference I guess.

I realize this is rather a personal preference but where do you suggest these various D rings go. I'm getting

2ea 45 degree Billy D ring
1ea 90 degree Billy D ring
1ea Heavy D ring
1ea Light D ring

I know normal is one on each sholder strap
one on the left waist strap
one on the crotch strap

So which where and suggestions for the 5th.

Thanks. - Sorry bout the rockie question, just on my own with this. Have never seen one or know anyone personally who has.

45degree rings on shoulder.
90 degree on left hip.
The heavy on the front of the crotch strap for a scooter ring.
The light on the rear of the crotch strap as a butt ring.

Is their a web site are information about assembling a bp wings setup, with all the parts needed, ie straps for tank etc.
