Do you dive with a back inflated BC because if you do I would like to know which one as YES THEY DO push you face first plain and simple. That is not a cause of the tank it is how they inflate. I dive with weights on the bottom of the tank so it draws a bit down at the bottom which inturn helps keep me out of water heads up. To say they do not push your head forward is not a good idea. Try one and see for yourself. Just sit and hang in the water. If you come my way and your BC does not push your head forward I will pay for your trip. FOR REAL. Just send me a e-mail and I will meet you anywhere. Just to see this amazing BCD.mech:As mentioned earlier a BC is not a life jacket.
I have no experiance with the model you are looking at.
I dive a Halcyon Pioneer 36.
It fits me like a glove.
It fits me well because it can be adjusted to suit about all body types.
My head rides safely above water unlike some others with poor fits that actually have the shoulder portion of their BC elevated well over their ears during their surface float
I never feel like I'm being pushed face down while on the surface, but to be honest with you when I was doing my research on this subject for myself I was very concerned about that for a while.
Good luck to you.
