and something was different after Saturday's diving. I'm thinking that the only thing Sarah and I had in common was the air we were breathing.

Wow, interesting and somewhat disconcerting. Perhaps it's worth bringing up with the captain? Or wherever ME gets its fills?

I dove off of hte boat tanks and felt good. I was a little tired after the dives, but once I got a little caffine in me I was doing good. I slept in my truck the night before so I just contributed my being tired to a poor night of sleep. I don't know where you were stationed, but I was up in the cabin area far away from any of the exhaust which has caused me problems in the past.

I was towards the front of the boat, furthest front you could be. I am sure we were all tired for a number of reasons, I am not really alarmed myself. It was a good day of diving, so not surprising I was tired. :)

I got only 2 hours of sleep before I dove this trip. I brought my own two tanks and dove 32% Nitrox for the first time in California. I felt energetic, alert and vigilant the entire two dives. I did feel a little aprehensive on my 98 ft descent on dive one.

I think I attribute that to being on Nitrox and knowing that I had a 111 MOD. I then recall, thinking, stay in formation and don't lose your buddy, it's a long way up from my 30+ feet of beach diving I normally do.

Once I got back to the boat and we got to shore and got to Giani's pizza the Meatzilla attacked my ass and it was over, I was invited over to Paula's and I fell asleep on her lazy boy chair, according to eye witnesses at Paula's they said I was out for the count and snoring.

The next day I had a really bad headache and had to take two tylenol but I don't know if that has anything to do with my dives as I'm no MD, just a silly Mike Guerrero. :P

I took very few pics and these came out...

Sounds like something Brewski would do.

Yup, I got down to 98 ft and went to turn the camera on, only to see an empty housing. :doh2:

Aweee...... I am sorry for laughing.....:kiss2:

You must not hang around Ron anymore, You see what it does to you!:D

No problem...I'd laugh too. ;) The worst thing was that it wasn't even on the boat. I actually left it in the car! :depressed:

Great shot Mike - you really captured the look of lingering boat-induced nausea on my face (I'm the one in the water). :D

That reminds me - I still need to write up the incredible tale of me and Brandon's most excellent adventure...
