Anyone got any experiences they would share, good or bad?

Got the Ti1, love it.:D

Been diving the ST1 for a little over 200 dives and have not had a problem. Love the way it breaths (160fsw is the deepest I've taken it), it causes no jaw fatigue, and the biennial service I had done by the factory was outstanding. While the biennial service was a little expensive at ~$160.00 (1st stage, 2nd stage, SS1), they sent me back my reg quickly and looking brand new.

Atomic makes some great regs anything you pickup will work great.
I have an SS1 and it's flows as good as my Legend.

Thanks. I have a friend looking to buy one who asked for my views, but I had no personal experience.

Sounds like he is on safe ground.

I'm a big Atomics fan and have a lot of their gear. I dive with a T2x, "upgraded" over the summer from a T2 with a kit provided by Atomic.

My reg is setup with a Ti SS1 octo/inflator combo and an air-integrated computer. I use MiFlex hoses, so the whole thing is very light, streamlined and easy to work with. Expensive but the pain in my wallet went away a long time ago, and this setup works very well for me.

Atomic makes high quality gear backed by first-rate customer service. If you ever have a question, just give them a call and someone, usually Darcy, will answer it for you.

Does the Miflex quick connect BC hose work with the Atomic SS1?

I have four, love them all and would buy another in a heartbeat.

The really nice thing is that the regs only differen in materials and features. The construction and specs are almost identical. For example, the Z2 is less expensive than the M1, but only because it lacks a few swivels, and environmental seal kit, an extra wide bubble deflector and a few other goodies. However where the "rubber meets the road" (flow rate, ease of breathing, etc.), it's every bit as good as the M1.

In fact, don't tell SCUBAPro, but I like them better than my Mk25/G250V.
