Thanks for the info. Up here you have to travel several hours if you want to go blow bubbles. Unless you want to stick your head in some mud holes or sand pits.
 
Vis today was probably 3', less when you got around people. Silt there is awful stuff, but some kinda cool wrecks (if you can see them). Our purpose was served, did the training dives that needed to be done and left. Not worth the drive unless you have a reason to be there (training). However the staff was very nice, much more accommodating than some of the other local spots IMO.
 
I have been to athens when vis was more than 40 ft. but you have to time it right and when you have a bunch of divers kicking up the clay silt, things get bad fast. Go on a friday before the weekend crowd. dont go for at least a week after it rains as the run off will muddy up the water quick. that i less of a problem at cssp.
