T&B with the stainless tab 50lb break at 50lb
Ancor with the plastic tab 50lb break at 50lb

Try twisting.

I don't have Ancor, but I have General Cable (which, strangely enough, I use to tie electrical wires), some unnamed brand and Ty Rap - all appear the same thickness/length. I just did a test pattern by tieing a boltsnap to a 2lb weight (I have a story about this on Bon) then twisting.

Result:

Gen Cable - broke the body, not the lock - not much pressure

Unnamed - broke the lock, not the body - less pressure

Ty Rap - twisted 6-7 times before it broke the body. It stretched very thin before it broke.

Not scientific, but empirically, enough for me.

At $32/100 I wouldn't buy them, but they can be had cheaper though still more than General Cable.
