Hello everyone. I'm new to diving, and new to this board. Just assembling my gear, and saw a "US Divers Select" Reg set up for bid on Ebay. Seller says its "New". I can't find any information on it anywhere. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Is it some knid of scam??

TIA,

US Divers changed their name to Aqualung here in the USA several years back. So any US Divers reg is going to be pretty old. The newer ones are all branded Aqualung. It may not be a scam, someone could have bought it and never used it or it could have been sitting in a warehouse somewhere. Personally, I have an old Oceanic computer bought in 1998 which I never used. Being it is old you will still need to get it serviced. I would recommend contacting your LDS to make sure that parts are still available.

To be correct the US Divers company has been bought by AquaLung (a european corporation) that owns also Apeks.
