Aqualung i770r

I can get my hands on a brand new Aqualung i770r with a brand new Aqualung Transmitter Clean 02 for USD$685. Given I need to replace my original Mares Puck I definitely want AI. My other alternatives are Mares Smart Air, Mares Quad Air or a Suunto D4i all around the USD$600 with transmitter.
Any thoughts?

An advantage for the Aqua Lung computer is that the transmitter is compatible with the Shearwater computer you will buy later. The transmitter new goes for almost $400, that makes the computer seem pretty inexpensive. The decompression algorithm, PZ+, will likely be a little more liberal than your Mares.

Are Pressure Transmitters compatible across brands?
