Hello everyone,
Anyone know where can I buy a couple of Apeks 2nd stages alone(ie without the 1st stage & regulator hose)?. The model I'm keen at are ATX50, ATX20, AT20, ATX40. Any internet shop to mail order from? Thanks a zillion!

I bought an ATX40 second stage from SimplyScuba. Great service and quick shipping.;)

I just bought a tx20 cheap from leisurepro.... except it is an octo so came with bright yellow face plate and lever.

Right now I've got an Apeks T20 as my primary reg. Eventually I plan to use it as my octo (discarding the one I've currently got)and get preferably the ATX50 as my primary reg.

It never occurred to me before reading this thread that I could get the 2nd stage without the 1st. When I am ready to "upgrade", is it necessary to get the ATX50 with a new 1st stage, or can I use the 1st stage from my T20 and just attach the ATX50?

Johnnythan, maybe you shouldn't post all at, let alone at night:
DiveInn at www.simplyscuaba.com (edit: i had scubaboard.com in here! lol.. no more posting late at night, jon)
diveinn (spain) is at www.scubastore.com, simply scuba (UK) is at www.simplyscuba.com.

chepar, yes, you can just get a new 2nd stage and continue using the 1st stage you have now.

btw, I've had really bad experiences with simplyscuba, nothing but bliss with diveinn.

chepar,

The ATX50 should work fine with your T20 - the T20 comes with the UST first stage, which is identical to the DST first stage of the ATX50, minus the environmental sealing.
