disjected, we would love to have you. I think Irregulators wife will be shopping in Greenville that day, so it might ease her pain of being in water if you let her buy toys while you dive! LOL :)

I will add your name to the list as the iffy dry suit guy LOL

Just talked with Bill and he said to save time, we can just meet him at the War Path Landing. If you are using Bill’s tanks, I just need to know if want nitrox or air and he will deliver the tanks to the boat ramp for us.

Two tanks of air and a charter is $30
Two tanks of 32% nitrox and a charter is $34

Bill asked me to collect the money for him so that we make sure we have enough people to cover the cost of the charter. He has had people book a number of times and then after he has the boat in water only one or two show up.

I will PM those who say they are coming with my address. Checks are to be made out to Off the Wall Dive Charters. Include a note on with the check that lets me know about what tanks you need. Also post the info in the thread to let me know to look out for your check as well as to place you gas request.

If you are using your own tanks, let me know if you will be going by his shop before or after for your fill. Bill’s shop is about 20 minutes from the dive site.

Woo hoo I just ordered my 7 mm wetsuit with front entry and attached hood. Never have had to wear something quite this thick but we'll see how it works out. I will be using Bill's tanks and air. Are we going to the pumphouse or pretty much staying near the hothole?

I too will be diving with a new 7mil. Ordered a 5 mil hooded vest too, but probably won't use that till I dive one of the quarries or lake lanier.

Your 7 mil come with attached hood or what kind of hood will you be using?

I was going to go with a 7 mil with attached hood, but the suit i wanted was out of stock and I opted to go with a 7mil without hood, along with a 5 mil hooded vest, for more versatility. I already have a 3mm hooded vest that i may bring along for this trip.

Leah that sounds good to me. You guys are the experienced ones in this locale so I'll just follow your lead.:D

Tee hee -- yeah, we're the experienced ones. Oh . . . you mean about the AREA :) Glad you weren't referring to our dive skills :D HAHA

Yeah, the water at the pump house is somewhere in the upper 50's right now. I've been in 62 degrees with a 5-mil, and I was shivering a little. We'll catch the pump house later. And there's lots to see in Lake Jocassee. :eyebrow:

I'm going to dive my 7mil in the Hot Hole. I never get too hot, regardless of the temp. Looking forward to meeting you!
