I got out for a real late afternoon dive on cape ann yesterday. That really was some surge running! I kept thinking that it was like diving in a pot of pea soup that was being stirred.

Jumped back in for a second dive (night dive) at Pebble... Adding some good surge to darkness and low vis really does make navigation more interesting.

On the bright side, it is warming up nicely out there!!

Nice! What'd you get for temp, 42F?

Which sites did the LDS suggest? Niles would be an obvious choice. Not much to see though.;)

Yup! Niles and possibly Back beach. I was trying to hit a more interesting site. I think my memory of Loblolly was a bit warped. I now remember a long surge filled swim back the last time I dove there on xmas eve.

We had 48 degrees on the surface and 46 at depth. Doesn't sound like much, but it feel ALLOT warmer than 40-42 deg. Must be getting near time for you to bust out the shorty suit :)
