I hear the vis in RI has taken a turn for the worse. Does anyone want to give the quarry a try tomorrow for 2 dives. Dive Rite will also be there to let you demo gear with completely no sales pressure.

Its also good drysuit weather but Im willing to dive shallow above 20 ft if do desired.

If so, let me know and I can be there for 9:30 am or later.

Afterwards we can try out the water slide and ziplines.

Admission was $15 today for Dive Rite participation but I cant see it on the website and may assume its the same Sunday

A little confirmation Dave?

Well its getting late to make plans. Sorry Ft Wetherill is soupy today and its not worth driving out there Sunday as it may be the same.

Looks like Ill do a fun dive at Bashan lake tomorrow in the afternoon or take a trip to the pet shop to look at the tropical fish. My screensaver isnt doing the job.

Please post reports though so we can judge if the sopiness one day means its bad another.

Also since the water is increasing in temp till 2cnd week of Sept. is the water at the perfect temp for a plankton bloom that suddenly happpened?

Hopefully it will clear up soon and be like it was last week.

Well the ocean looks calm so Im going out to Ft Wetherill. If anyone sees a 97 Green Saturn with tinted windows and a funny antenna, you are more than welcome to join me.

Im going to keep it simple and fairly shallow ; but there are areas I can alway find decent vis but requires a snorkel and good hydration.

Im eager to see some tropical outside an aquarium.
