Heya Doug, sorry about the misunderstanding. Just know this club forum/GTBA is all about people helping people, getting to know one another, having a great time, and building bonds. :) Don't worry, there is no one here that is going to push someone to do something they aren't ready to (though I can see how the phrase could be misinterpreted) . :no Were pretty lucky to have a fantastic group of people here. You'll soon see. :D

BTW, be sure to tell us about the dive:multi: Especially since I am dry AGAIN this weekend, ooof. Poor me :sadangel::D

Check out my dive report from Sat. in the "GET YOUR FEET WET" forum.

hour glass shaped sink. tanic type water I've heard described as coffee. Platforms at 20 and 45 feet. lines are run on the walls at 35 and 60 feet that take you on a scenic tour of the sink. There is also a platform on the bottom at 107 feet. There are lines run from that platform to all the neat stuff to see down there. If you go to the bottom you want lots of lights, really good air management, and don't even bother decending to the bottom if you can't frog kick. you can silt the bottom by merely looking at it. One Dive Master I know says he thinks the bottom of that hole is so dark it sucks the light out of your bulb.

Where?

Hudson, FL a few miles north of the Clearwater/St Pete's area.

Hudson Grotto

Cheers.
