Anyone diving Central Florida Spring's Sat.
Hello Diver's

My name is Doug Me and my son are open water and nitrox certified with NAUI I am allway's looking for more dive's on weekend's. With the whether report this weekend The Gulf is not a good option! Somewhere like Blue Grotto or Devil's Den would be fun and if it rain's it is still a great day of diving and a picnic for the day.
Just wondering if anyone is diving the Spring's in Central Florida this weekend?

Group of us are diving Devil's Den Tomorrow... you and your son are welcome to join us.

A group of us are hitting up Ginnie Springs saturday, and we're all "beginners" so nothing fancy, but entirely safe! Drop me a PM if you'd like to meet up.

If your in Lutz your right around the Corner from me in Wesley Chapel. As Missdirected has recently pointed out :D, I have been living in the springs as of late.

Unfortunetly, I'll be doing Dive Master internships all month so I can't dive until Oct 27th or 28th.

Hi Every one

Thank you for the reply's and the invite's. My son will not make the dive's this weekend but I will be going to Devil's Den Sat Oct 6th and getting there between 8-9 am Looking forward to meeting new friends to dive with!

The Grotto Sun is a Possibility any one else want to go?

Maybe I will stay overnight at Devil's Den so I do not have to drive back up?

Doug

Doug,
I hope to see you tomorrow! We'll be there between 9 and 10 am. Tell the dive shop you are with "GET YOUR FEET WET" dive club.
See you in the am.

Depending on how brave you feel, you could try the Hudson Grotto

tell me about Hudson...

hour glass shaped sink. tanic type water I've heard described as coffee. Platforms at 20 and 45 feet. lines are run on the walls at 35 and 60 feet that take you on a scenic tour of the sink. There is also a platform on the bottom at 107 feet. There are lines run from that platform to all the neat stuff to see down there. If you go to the bottom you want lots of lights, really good air management, and don't even bother decending to the bottom if you can't frog kick. you can silt the bottom by merely looking at it. One Dive Master I know says he thinks the bottom of that hole is so dark it sucks the light out of your bulb.
