Any idea about AquaLung Blades/Blades Flex

Firstly, I think fins are a really personal thing - depends on the person and what works for one may not be good for another. If you can it is good to try them in the water before buying.

Have used blades (tried them for about work dives when they first came out) and quattros. For me there is no comparison - quattros are much much better - lighter more efficient, more comfortable and faster. Buckles are nice to if you like plastic buckles. But that is just me. I also really dislike jet fins.
 
My wife has Blade II's. Very stiff fin. I made spring straps for her. If you're not used to a stiff fin like this, you may have to use them for a bit & get your muscles used to them.
 
I too and new to diving. At the time, we purchased what the dive shop had: AquaLung Blades. They caused cramps in my calves and were very stiff. I heard about Mares Volo Fins, purchased them, love them. The power thrust you get by a simple movement of your legs is amazing. Anyone want to purchase my old fins?
